Benefizio Castello di Pomino Bianco Riserva Chardonnay

This wine has a nice yellow tint and a nose that shows the restrained use of oak. The aromas also have an earthy salinity about them, with a fruity undercurrent draped in apple, almond and dried apricot notes. On the palate, there is a more noticeable oak effect, but still within reason. The mouthfeel is full, while the acidity is bracing. It is a savory wine which brings the fruit almost apologetically. Delicious, and a great match for dishes from seafood to chicken to pork. Anything with a creamy sauce will pair beautifully with the Benefizio Riserva.

This is Chardonnay for me! Perfect with watching Great British Bake Off and Kondo-ing my closet. It is big but sleek. Sophisticated with a swath of hardy. Quite rich but super acid. I think there was lees stirring and some malo but fresh citrus and happy little flowers were in the mix.

A white wine that ages very well, long with great acidity, butter and vanilla

Among the most famous Chardonnay coming from Tuscany, this one (also) is fatally touched by some oak fermenting and aging. Medium body, good balance in acidity and saltiness, medium long finish. This vintage doesn't guarantee a long aging, but I'll wait 2-3 yrs. before drinking it. #FrescobaldiTasting

This was the 2014 and a blend of 90% Chardonnay and 10% Pinot Blanc. Aromatic and fruity. Low oak with low acid. Drink now. Satisfying.

Medium yellow color. Notes of honey, tropical melon, lemon, and Madagascar vanilla. Very elegant balance and acidity. Medium finish.

И увидев это шардоне 2017 года я решил его продегустировать с самими ассорти. Wine spectator дал 96 баллов. Моя оценка ниже но тоже очень высока! Очень минеральное и совсем не кислотное.
