Deep and smoky on the nose with lots of woodsy and dried herbs and spices throughout the palate. At peak.

Killer in the classic style of Marchesi Antinori, from the moment that the cork leaves the bottle, this monarch reigns. It belonged, but was not featured, in this morning's seminar by Consorzio Del Vino Brunello Di Montalcino. Just love it!

2010 vintage. More modern style. Candied red fruit, generous, soft and round, big grippy tannins with earthiness.

Very elegant and subtle Brunello. No need to keep it longer I think just enjoy it!

Beautiful bright nose of dust, dry cherry, and leather. The wine showed its age with light browning on the edge but at first taste tannins, dry fruit, and bright sour cherry notes competed. After a few minutes, waves of sweet cherry fruit soared and the tannins dropped off. Brilliant match to Tuscan T-bone and oso bucco on a warm night in Florence, Italy.
