Pretty and finessed, good to drink now

Still needs some time but well structured.

One of a flight of five 2009 Premier Cru Vosne Romanee .Terroir and winemaking do make a difference. Hard to choose but definite differences . All fine wines. And all from just two vineyards.

This spicy, high toned Suchots was a surprise- I expected a heavier wine, and was pleased that it was medium weight. It went very well with Dijon braised chicken, and surprisingly well with my first ratatouille of the summer!

Explosive brown spice right from the get go. Red berry and full of energy.

Riper nose than expected. Flattened out and gain some wight mid-palate. Little bit of stewed fruit after an hour. Still fun.

Oxidized and cooked #bummer

Restrained and closed.
