Excellent. A nice combination of fruit in an excellent and rich year. Fabulous with grilled salmon. One of the best 2015s I have tasted recently

Les Murgers abuts the Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Vineyard of Champ Gain. Wow, this is a bargain! Elegant nose of ripe stone fruits, citrus and bits of vanilla and biscuit. On the palate ripe apple, peach and pear with lemon zest and some sweetness. Lingering, rich ending with an underlying mineral character.

Needed to give this more time to open up to explore it further. Was just touching the surface while tasting.

2009 vintage. Fresh, elegant. Infused wood, lemon and mint notes on the nose. Medium bodied, developed. Some woody flavours (liquorice; saw dust; bark) and lemon. Not wonderfully complex but clean and pleasant. The finish is citrussy, woody and slightly tannic.

2005 vintage. Murgers des dents de chien. Beautiful profile right now - dare I say an overachiever? Enjoyed our first bottle with the winemaking team at Gambal in Beaune 2013, and it hasn't skipped a beat since. One of the most understated vineyards, with exceptional potential year in and year out. Happy Easter!

very much on the side of Puligny. Opens with toast, vanilla and yellow flowers, with just ripe stone fruit and pleasant leesy character. On the pallet, it leads with grapefruit and more Okie complexity, with enough acidity and minerality able to support plenty of opulence without flopping

Body: Medium-
Acidity: Medium+
Typicity: High

Notes of lemon curd, flint, honeydew, vanilla, cheese rind, and toast.

Really tasty St. Aubin, pretty classic white burg flavors with perfect balance and just a hint of oak and lees aging. Another Costco buy, would definitely get it again.
