Eh? Maybe I just don't like gamay. High acid. Relief comes in the form of berry and cherry, rock and hay.

aged cru Beaujolais is a treat 🍬

pinot on the cheaper side? nah...
super enjoyable? for sure

paired nicely with buckwheat with a spritz of olive oil, tahini and a bit of green fresh 🌶️
and kohlrabi, radishes and sumac salad.

Fresh herbs on the nose. Dark chocolate and coffee beans

juicy, earthy and rocky.
big yet elegant.

Correct without being transcendent. May need a few years in the cellar. May need more décantation too

Quite drinkable. Not remarkabke.
