Maison Albert Bichot
La Madone Fleurie Gamay
Ever wondered what a 50 year old Beaujolais tastes like? It was very Burgundian! I initially though Savigny from a colder vintage but it was almost impossibly light in colour and that telltale note of beetroot was there in the background. A surprisingly good 1966 Bichot Fleurie!

Feb 18th, 2019Not especially expressive; bright and fresh cherry then that’s about it. Balanced though with a good acidity
