Ever wondered what a 50 year old Beaujolais tastes like? It was very Burgundian! I initially though Savigny from a colder vintage but it was almost impossibly light in colour and that telltale note of beetroot was there in the background. A surprisingly good 1966 Bichot Fleurie!

Has a slight buttery aroma with violets. Taste is light and smooth and silky.

A grape I had never taster prior. Earthy like a Pinot noir, but heavier. Really tasty!
