Big honking nose on this guy. Mocha and espresso aromas mixed with bright cassis. Balanced nicely, dry but not so much that my mouth is getting pile drived. Jill thinks sage and dried fruits.

Not as bright and fruity as most Cabs. A bit smoky and dusty on the palate. Lacks balance. Disappointed in this Madrigal.
