Maybe a little past it’s prime. Opened.Feb 2019. I suspect I would have given it a 9.0 a couple years ago. Nettles and nutmeg on the nose (but I mean this in a good way). Not much in the way of fruit on the front (dried cherries), but a mild tannic pucker on the top and the end give it a nice balance.

Good color, clarity and legs. Short on body and nose. Overall a good 2011 vintage consumed in 2019.

Picked this up at the local market to eat with some roasted lamb loin chops. Paired beautifully - not overpowering. Dark fruit on the nose, fruity and light acid. Medium body, not particularly tannic. I'd buy it again for $20.
