Typical Southern Rhône aromas of lavender and thyme. Rich smoky flavors of blackberry with savory spices, round tannins and long minerally finish. Great value Costco find.

A bit on the herbal side. A sour finish, which accompanied this lamb stew really nicely actually. The acidity absorbed and the resulting flavour was quite nice. Definitely consume with food.

Works with food. Slightly anticeptic but not too much. Little bit fruit. Dark cherry. Very smooth. Ok to drink without food too. Drank at marks with wings and pesto and asparagus salad.

Trying out a new wine bar in Minsk. Nice place with interesting wines. Chapoutier Cotes de Roussillon 2013. Noty style for wine... Dried stone fruits, very pronounced grapefruit skin in the finish, long aftertaste and sunny and full body.

After hearing the stories of a friends trip to France and drinking great roses, I decide to start trying some. Got this at Circle Liquors on 31. Loved it. What do y'all think?

A big concentrated wine with loads of fruit but more rustic than polished which I dig. At $13 very well done. Some near term aging would likely help...
