Hermitage Syrah

Showing some age to be sure, but still plenty to keep someone interested. Fascinating mix of red and black fruit, good acidity and fully resolved tannin. Very enjoyable for about an hour.

Being a big Chapoutier fan and with a decent vertical in the cellar myself I was humbled being treated to this.

Raisins, prunes, port-like. Dried herbs. Super ripe.
