Dusty cherry, sous Bois and some hoisin on the nose. Very pure. Perfectly aged and ready to rip. Yummm with meat stew and braised vegetables

Dark and punchy on the nose with grapey, slightly roasted plummy fruit. Quite high alcohol in the nose. Rich and pure Grenache on the palate. Chocolatey notes and a very smooth intense finish. Not too hot.

Savory medium full and crushable . Disappeared as fast at the rack of St. Louis ribs it was paired with.

Finding significant bottle variation with this, but bottle 3 was a total beauty: black cherry, red cherry, leather, animal, and herbs // serious lightness across the palate, despite the wine’s commanding presence

I appreciate the quality here, but quickly learning I'm not a fan of Chapoutier's style. Way too much sulfur here for me.

A dark opaque ruby core color with great concentration. This wine is still very young and only hints at its potential. The nose is filled with fresh ripe raspberry, cherry and blueberry. There is a kiss of earth showing now but I sense that will develop nicely with a little more cellaring. Peppercorn and wild herbs round out the bouquet. On the palate the wine has a lovely balance and freshness, the tannins are silky and integrated with a long finish. This is a very pretty CDP, elegant with a nice restrained power. Drink in 2020-2035

This is a youthful but very drinkable and smooth grenache. It has a lovely mouthfeel, wonderful nose, and very pleasing black fruit signature.

Not showing well... Muted, not singing as one might expect. Definitely a let down.
