Asili Barbaresco Nebbiolo

Stunning value from Asili.

This wine's pallet consists of black cherries, leather, tar, and a hint of smoke. Explosive tannins make for a dramatic mouthfeel. Make sure to chill for best experience.

Leathery nose and a little tarragon on the backend. Very good now and probably a scorcher in 3 yrs

This is another top level cru

Drank at summit with PS. Very good Nebbiolo with food.

Initial notes of earthy blue cheese that morphed into dark cherry as it opened up. Drank alongside balada and grilled vegetables.

Rustic, Dry. Perfectly Italian….
Most enjoyable drink I’ve had since the Italy trip.
