Dragon Langhe Bianco Chardonnay Blend

Chardonnay, SB, Riesling and Nascetta from the Langhe. Nascetta is only grown in the Langhe. Similar to southern Rhône varietals, Nascetta adds herbaciousness and acid to this blend.

So open and tropical at first. Smell more of the Sauv in the blend... then if you know Vajra’s Riesling it really comes out at the end. Interesting white from the langhe although more of an international style (stainless steel only though) Great great wine! #vajra #langhebianco #blend #piemonte

45% Chardonnay, 25% Sauv Blanc, 25% Nascetta, and 5% Riesling. Meyer lemon, fresh herbs, mushrooms, and wet stones. Moderately aromatic, low acid, elevated alcohol level (14%).

I actually really enjoyed this interesting blend. Definitely helped that it was half off at the restaurant 😊 thicker mouth feel but nice balance of acidity and sweet.

This is great! Not simple at all. Fruit and herbs on the nose. Super tasty. No oak nice wine. For a summer evening

Not many whites on my list and that’s especially true of Chardonnay. But was recommended this blend and it’s great. Crisp bright fruit early and then this great burst about half way through. Not surprised it’s not aged in oak and that’s fine by me. Loved the finish too.

Fabulous. No wan langhe bianco, this. Shimmering gold, lush palate, tropical fruits and a hint of riesling. Brash, novel, and all the better for it. #vajra
