Refosk

Intensely earthy, lots of barnyard funk comes through in nose. In the glass, gritty, grippy tannins. Sour black and red berries, sweet tart candy. Immense acidity.

Dude! This wine is tasty. Dark, super funky nose, dark berry. What a cool find.

2013 - Wow, supercool. Meaty, dark, brooding, but not intense, the liter goes mighty fast. Excellent companion for lasagna

Intense dry fruits on the nose, dark ruby dry table wine. Leaves long lasting warm mouthful of taste, calling for some spicy cheese. Wine club choice.

Don’t love or hate this. Seemed really rough upon first opening (lots of horse blanket). Open for almost 24 hours, it’s seemed to soften a little yet nothing really stands out for me.

Very pleasant Slovenian dry refosco.
