Almost 4 years since my last btl and this is just singing. On the nose: brambly blackberry and dark cherry, smoked herbs. On the palate: fantastic, juicy acidity, lovely density, more savory herbs and blackberry and black cherry. Tannin completely attenuated on the juicy finish.

Aug 12th, 2022Medium ruby hue with medium-minus saturation. Intense aromas of blackberry, cherry, cinnamon, grape, oak, mint, sage, and strawberry. Medium-light body, with medium tannins and medium-light acidity. Soft, short finish. Very food-friendly, fruit-forward, and accessible. Solid everyday red.

Beautiful purple colour.
Charming nose of liquorice and anis (maybe a hint of Fresh tobacco or dark chocolate).
Fresh attack followed by some dark berries and firm tanins ( 2015 is obviously too young but still accessible with food and after décantation). A lot of precision in this wine, can't wait to try the other from Luciano Sandrone !!
Recommend with red meats, spaghetti and meat balls, pizza, grilled meats,...
