Cannubi Boschis Barolo Nebbiolo

A fabulous wine that really captures the essence of the Sandrone style during this era. Perfumed, sensual, modern and just exquisite. Sublime...😍🤪😱🤩💥

Considerable depth, red profiled. Cassis, cherries, obviously tar and roses... This 1996 Sandrone is modern and racy. I rather like it. Traditionalists might not.

Very ripe, no sense of place, raisins and tannins. Came off a little zin like.

Big and juicy Barolo

Seamless and pure. One of the most balanced wines and still young on open. After several hours it does show its age but great pop and pour.

Remarkably fresh fruit with almost a sparkle to the lively tannins. Lingering cherry finish. Superb.

Pretty nose, balanced wine. Not quite in character with other Barolos, lacks typical characteristics.

Deep plums, classic tar and roses, raspberries. Brioni silk over the top. Great acid and polished tannins. Medium long finish. Great match with all courses: bone marrow, beef tartar, osso bucco and carrot cake donuts.
