Lacrima di Morro d'Alba

Bright, lovely blue fruit, flowers and violets, a bit of spice on the finish.

Simple, easy drinking, soft plums and grape leaves.

Much darker then anticipated, very inky and almost black. Crushed violets and blue fruit reign supreme. Incredibly fresh and tart blueberries and moist black potting soil are all over the palate. This Lacrima is very soft, and even by itself is very drinkable. Aromatic and long, it is quite enjoyable.

Better than it was two years ago, but still not thrilling. Decent with an Italian meal.

Jet black in color yet ethereally light on the palate. Tastes earthy with a distinct note of grape leaf (think Dolmathakia).

Fun wine fun label

I liked it. Bonnie couldn’t drink it. That hardly ever happens. Probably needs more time.

Opened a few nights ago. Tight astringent yuck. Three days later rather nice. Anise cigar box floral.

Inky. Dark fruit and spice. Fleshy, not chewy. Reminiscent of Syrah. Enjoyable.
