Still an astonishing color, a bit softer thank the previous bottle and support floral.

Surprisingly dark, nearly inky purple color. Intense, floral, dried rose, violet and black fruit notes. Medium bodied, good structure of acids, lowish tannin. A pretty good pairing with ricotta gnocchi in a simple tomato, onion, butter sauce.

Dark plum jumps out on the nose with some medicinal & soy components. Black caps and pomegranate are featured on this rich palate. This really tastes like "purple" if a wine ever did. Super heavy tannins - just a baby right now - give it 10 years.

Deep purple and an amazing floral nose. tv14%, higher in alcohol than I’ve seen with Lacrima, but u can’t taste it. This wine is so unusual- no other grape that I know of ( my brother will correct me?) has a nose and taste like this. Tannins are there but in check. Went great with pappadelle and pancetta/ tomato sauce.

Easy to love, much improved on day 2...blackberry, graphite, plum, good balance.

I love Lacrima and when indecisive often just grab it or a GSM, but this is higher quality. Juniper, herbs, and blackberries abound in this Lacrima with a long finish, vibrant concentration, and spice aromatics. Only $19 for something that tastes at what's typically twice this price point.

Whose tears? Don't show this label to the PC police. Deep purple. No smoke on the palate, but rather a beguiling aroma of wild berries. Big fat plum note on the palate, followed by a bracingly astringent tannic finish. Delicious now, keep a few around to see how they evolve.
