This is slightly Pinot noir dominated. It is slightly tart yet also creamier. And toasty. It was like drinking a savory trifle. I’m not sure if that sounds appetizing but trust me, it worked!

A solid 90 points for this fresh and splendid champagne. Light gold color, classical small bubbles, lime, yeast, toast , grapefruit, minerals and apple. Medium body, fresh and crisp , yet lightly fruity. My score 90, drink when ever you feel like celebrating life.

Medium golden yellow with fine mousse. Dried tree fruits, honeysuckle, hazelnut, and burned toast on the nose. Intense flavors of lemon drops and Golden Delicious apples leading to a long finish. Brut with high acid and only 12% alcohol. A blend of around 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, and 20% Pinot Meunier of which 75% is from the 2013 vintage and 25% from reserve wines. Paired with homemade Fried Cod and Hushpuppies. $63.

Always rock solid. Green apple, lemon/lime zest, pineapple flesh, ginger, just a touch of brioche, fine bubbles and good crisp acidity. Nice starter. 375ml.

Hints of glass shard, with undertones of shame and regret.

LR is still the best NM bubbly house in Champange in my opinion. Good wine for the price and consistently.
