Over 75 years, the Martini family have crafted Cabernet Sauvignon wines from vineyards of Sonoma & Napa counties, carried on by 3rd gneration winemaker Michael Martini. A blend of 82% Cabernet Sauvignon with Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, and Merlot making up the rest. Aromas of ripe black fruits and subtle spice. On the palate ripe flavors of blackberry and dark currant flavors with herb notes and cacao. Savory tannins, good balance, lingering ending with juicy mineral tones. Very nice. Tasting Sample.

Amazing cab...delicious and balanced. Now when you factor in the price the ratings should go up. I’ve seen some ratings here listed at 8...I happen to think these guys are clowns and wouldn’t know a good wine from a bad one. I had the 2013 vintage and enjoyed it thoroughly!!

For the first glass I thought that it’s chaotic: a strong alcohol, “noisy” fruits and tannins (that’s why decantation is needed). But after some time it presents itself with a good balance between tannins and fruits. The finish is long and spicy (a pepper).

Pretty good full bodies Cab. A otter chalky but fairy smooth with low tannins but a touch of picket/alcohol after a lot of air.
