Louis Latour
Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru Chardonnay
Aloxe-Corton, Côte de Beaune, Burgundy, France
Crystalline in the glass. Pure presentation of citrus fruits and moderate sweetness, with lots of detail on the mid-palate. A beauty which will cellar for many years to come.

May 27th, 2022Going for a magnum of this wonderful 2018 white Burgundy. Heavy on the alcohol and the typical Burgundy Chardonnay flavors. Hits the mark

2018 vintage. Softer and slightly rounder in the palate than the recently-tasted (4.5.23) 2019 vintage (same score). That subtle finish rings the bell for a long damned time tho. Apples/oranges. Should hold at this place in time for a good spell. 4.13.23.
