Ruby red color with aromas of ripe fruits with floral perfume and sweet earthy tones. On the palate flavors of cherry and plum fruits, with pepper spice notes. Soft fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, floral and earthy spice character.

Fruit was dried, somewhat tired and not alot of fruit left, somewhat thin despite the good vintage...

Monday night and had a taste for a French Pinot Noir. So, I opened the 2008 Maison Louis Latour Beaune Pinot Noir.
The nose is rich is red fruit, strawberry, red raspberry, cherry, cola, vanilla, sassafrass, rose petal, toasty oak and dry farm soil.
The palate gives more good red fruit tart cherry, tart strawberry, red raspberry, cola, cinnamon, vanilla, mushroom, and dry dusty soil.
This wine is medium bodied with medium + acidity and medium smooth tannin that leads to a medium to long fresh finish. A very pleasing pinot that has many more years in bottle. A great way to start the week of right. Have a wonderful week, be safe and don't work too hard. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷

Initial fruit with more acid toward the finish. Good structure.
