Still lively. Sweet vanilla, roasted herbs, sanguine, licorice, allspice, dried red cherry, stewed strawberry. Bacon fat 🥓. High acid driving the finish.

Had another bottle in my cellar, had this about 2 years ago. Louis Latour's domaine covers 50 hectares including the largest collection of Grand Cru vineyards in Burgundy. Aged for 12 months in French Oak (35% new), bright Ruby with complex red fruit aromas and spicy oak. On the palate blackberry and currants flavors with cacao and oak notes, fine soft tannins, lively acidity, well balance. Lingering finish ending with earthy mineral tones. Aging well!

Fruity with strong notes of honey. Sharp and powerful with a fabulous aftertaste.

Typical for northern Beaune with tamed tannins. I enjoyed the light berry aroma and flavor. Super clean and well integrated. Missing a long finish though. A great wine to enjoy on its own.
