High alcohol punch. Quarter inch or less of golden hue at the rim. Fleshy tannins, This wine has staying power and could age another 10 years. Dark berry and hints of pencil lead. The alcohol overpowers the wine for me.

Typical for northern Beaune with tamed tannins. I enjoyed the light berry aroma and flavor. Super clean and well integrated. Missing a long finish though. A great wine to enjoy on its own. — 11 years ago
