It took the alcohol to blow off and make this wine approachable, but once it waned it was tasty. Amazing how much sediment comes off Foley's Claret.

A little tight but opening up beautifully with a little air. Thanks to my buddy Jason for this wine. Merry Christmas!

High alcohol punch. Quarter inch or less of golden hue at the rim. Fleshy tannins, This wine has staying power and could age another 10 years. Dark berry and hints of pencil lead. The alcohol overpowers the wine for me.
