Starts out as a pretty basic Pinot… but the finish had a unique silky Nutella thing going on!? Fun. Cheers!

Nose has (light) old rubber band, dehydrated Bing cherry, oak bark with some alcohol heat.

Palate has dried cherry steeped in black tea, sous-bois and (light) vinyl notes or maybe some vegetal green pepper. Generally not impressed by this palate, little improvement since our prior bottle, lacking concentration.

A very interesting bottle, experiencing its evolution tonight in our glasses. Initially this had a little bit of funk going on, like rubber band mixed with Big League Chew (gum). But honestly now, blinded I'd think this is totally Gamay, but with a dusty note. Also I'm picking up wood bark, like when you split oak and the bark sheath falls off. The wine is a little lacking on concentration of flavor, but that has been lightly picking up the longer it has been exposed. I see another community member picked up black tea notes, I'd say I agree also. Dried cherry profile is mostly dominant for me, now.

Very approachable Nuit St George, we love them as they are almost always are on the border of premier Cru to Grand Cru, devilishly seductive wines. This one is bit less powerful than many of the others.

An elegant Pinot noir. Light and mature. Molasses and allspice. Clover, raw earth and country. Tobacco. forest floor, rotting foliage leather. Old world

Pungent aromas of cherries, blackberries, black tea, bay leaves, wild mushrooms, warm spices. Sour cherry flavor on entry with brisk acidity on the mid palate with earthy notes, long rustic tannic finish.

Lovely light ruby colour to the rim; sour cherries, roses, lavender, and a hit of Madagascan vanilla; good acidity and nice tannins - a palpable hint of alcohol and a little on the plain side. Like a mid-level accountant: it could have more personality but it does the job and leaves you with a few quid to spare and a slightly bitter taste in your mouth.
