Pleasant wine, easy drinking. Soft, maybe a bit mellow.

This Coteaux Bourguignons Beaune from Louis Jadot displays a deep dark ruby color, hinting at its intensity. With elements of whole bunch, it presents a distinctive character. The wine showcases fine tannins and a medium to high level of acidity, contributing to its fuller body and providing a well-balanced structure.

On the nose, captivating notes of smoke and mushroom intertwine with a delicate spice of clove, creating an alluring aromatic profile. Subtle hints of stewed cherries add a touch of fruitiness, while the overall impression leans towards a savory expression rather than sweetness, inviting exploration and appreciation.

The palate offers a textural experience, thanks to its fine tannins and high acidity, which contribute to a full and unctuous mouthfeel. Flavors of jammed strawberry, cherry, and blackberry delight the taste buds, delivering a symphony of fruity indulgence.

This Louis Jadot Coteaux Bourguignons Beaune is an excellent wine that offers much enjoyment with each sip. Its complexity unfolds and evolves, revealing its depth over time. For a perfect pairing, I recommend enjoying it alongside Tyrrells salt and truffle chips, as the combination enhances both the wine and the culinary experience. Given its remarkable qualities, I am pleased to assign this wine a rating of 92, acknowledging its commendable characteristics.

Savor this delightful wine, as it evolves and reveals its intricate flavors and textures sip by sip. Cheers to a truly enjoyable wine experience!

Simple and accessible wine, Superb Blend, junction between Beaujolais (Gamay = fruit, generosity) and Burgundy (pinot noir = depth, relief), light/medium body. good q / p ratio

Fresh, light wine. To drink refreshed 12 degrees. Gamay and Pinot Noir blend. Straight, simple, very drinkable; good value for money.

This wine is clear medium ruby.

The nose is clean with medium intensity. Aromas of red cherry , strawberry and cranberry.

The palate is dry with medium acid and alcohol. The tannins are low and still quite ripe. The intensity is medium (+) show the same flavours as aromas on the nose. The body is medium and the finish is medium (-).

This is a simple straight forward easy drinking wine but that is what it is meant to be therefore, I think this is a good quality wine.
