Louis Jadot
Champs Fulliot Monthélie 1er Cru Pinot Noir

An iron filled Pinot that seems as healthful as a pint of Guinness! Fantastic Burgundy for roast chicken and potatoes! Being next to Volnay Caillerets rubs off on this very fine Monthélie!

Was rated high by JR. So bought it blind. Quite dark. Deep - almost port wine like nose. Very dark ripe 🍒. Tannins almost fully resolved. Crushed stones. Almost sweet. Plummy (I guess that is the reason I cannot fully embrace it). Cloves, bark, crushed stones. Don’t decant. This looses its fruit over time.
