Last night I opened this 2017 Loosen Christopher J.J. Willamette Valley Pinot Noir.

On the nose there is cherry, strawberry, cranberry, spice, vanilla, rose petals and earth.

On the palate there is cherry, strawberry, cranberry, cinnamon, spice, vanilla, oak and earth.

The wine is medium body with a silky mouthfeel, medium + acidity and medium fine tannins that has a medium to medium long red fruit earthy finish. Have a great weekend and please stay healthy and safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷

Very tasty but light… could very easily drink a lot of this. Easy on the palette with a nice tartness from burnt cherries.

Bottle #2 from wine shop by Wrigley Field. Just a random PN pickup. Never heard of this producer. Not a bad bottle. Cola, tart cherry.

Not bad. Not amazing. Typical Oregon Pinot Noir. Tart cherries and a tiny tiny hint of those earthy undertones. Only weird thing is that it has a fume-like hot on the nose at first.
