Surprising to say the least. Basically a village wine, but it showed complexity, density, and drive beyond its classification. Excellent value!

Green apple, celery salt, high acidity.

As green as the label. Green apple, lime, a bit vegetal. Sour acidity.

Honey, lime, green apple, light acidity, enjoyable.

Making the best of a light wine list tonight.

Pale, translucent gold-green. Snap peas, lime, melon, white pepper. Slight rubber-grassiness. Light bodied with med+-to-high acid. Citrus finish.

Clean crisp pair with fish sauce and lime

Always love Fred Loimer's wines. Loimer was the first Austrian producer I was exploded to, and it's still fun to revisit his offerings. This had unexpected depth.

Smoky, with a pleasant streak of raw honey and supple grapefruit citrus profile. You'll find only a touch of the classic crack of green and white peppercorns. Just doesn't have the zip I'm looking for in a GV.
