Smoking good, with a savory character and silky smooth, velvet texture. So harmonious and complete, with all elements in place and perfect balance. Red apple skin, pennyroyal and black tea and a sous bois finish. A delicious pinot that reaches rarified heights of sophistication and elegance

Nice bright purple. Dense. Fragrant fruit forward nose. Notes of ripe black cherry, Asian spice, sandalwood and some rhubarb. High pitched. In the mouth it's a wallop of intensity. A bit extracted.

This possessed everything I love in a great Pinot. Dark cherry, floral, spice, well balanced. Just a lovely drinking experience all around.

Haunting aromatics, stemmy with subtle campfire smoke. You could taste and see the age, dry and savoury, black tea. Light cherry layers. Probably on the downslope from here as the acid just holding it all together.

Beautiful aromatics, but still pretty tightly coiled. I hope somebody I know had been cellaring these...

Deep ruby color. Opaque. Candied nose with notes of Asian spice, ripe raspberry, earth and kirsch. Chewy and very rich in the mouth. Nice finish. A bit over the top.

Cinnamon, nutmeg, earth, rhubarb, unripe cranberry, pomegranate, tea and chocolate covered espresso. M/m+ acid. M body. Needs a bit of time to fully come together.
