Sisters Eola Amity Hills Chardonnay

It’s 100 degrees in the shade so I’m ready to drink anything cold. Decent wine.

Limpid yellow-gold. Vibrant, mineral-accented aromas of peach, Anjou pear, melon and Meyer lemon, along with a bright floral overtone. Juicy and densely packed, displaying a deft interplay of richness and vivacity to the citrus and orchard fruit flavors. Picks up smoky lees, honey and iodine nuances with air and shows excellent clarity and back-end lift. The strikingly long, penetrating finish echoes the mineral and citrus fruit notes and betrays no rough edges. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, Feb 2018)

Love this wine but the price is insane

Another beauty. The hand of Dominique Lafon is apparent! Very similar to the next wine.

Nice toasted oak and vanilla notes, somewhat reminiscent of a Sauternes. This wine would easily pass for a French Chardonnay.

Gorgeous wine. A real classic. Very Burgundian.
