Les Cranilles Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend

What a charmer. Solid and fruity. So slurpable. Still on the fresh side being under screwcap. It's a cheerful thing, releasing its forest fruits and earth with ease.

Interesting Rhone blend. Syrah/Grenache and full of peppery notes, mainly black pepper. Spicy during the finish.

Deep ruby with bags of spicy dark berry fruit on the nose. Dry, attractive tannins with black pepper, cooked blackberries even a touch of beetroot! Long finish.

Very pleasant basic CdR. Good fruit, nice weight, peppery and spicy notes, some residual sugar, but overall nicely balanced. Great cheese/after dinner red.

Medium to dark garnet, nose of some burnt vanilla, dark red fruits. Medium body, clear fruit up front, red & dark plum, black cherry, some oak, light tannins, low acidity. Really nice!

Medium bouquet, dark berry and some earthiness. On the lighter side in the mouth, very smooth, low acidity and and low tannins. Red plum and blackberry. Pretty good red for lots of diff foods.

Meat and leather on the nose with plenty of fruit and wet stone on the palate. The bottle says aged in cement for 8 months but there is an obvious vanilla note. I hope staves weren’t used...
Delicious regardless.

Honestly seems a bit reticent but still coming forth with plush forest berries and plums and they always get a beautiful silken texture

Another wine that's reliably tasty and worth the price at any vintage, will continue to look forward to the new vintages.
