It has that dark pink hue that you see in the bottle that makes you all kinds of nervous, but it’s dirt cheap at Total Wine so you gotta do it anyway, since you’re tired and just trying to fill a mixed case. 60% Grenache, 20% Cinsault, 10% Clairette, 10% Syrah. 14% ABV and you can taste it.

Really delicious rose! Much more complex than many roses I have tried. Beautiful color also.

Mar 17th, 2018Salmon in color with aromas of strawberry and herbs; High acid, light bodied with a lingering finish. I wasn't a fan of having a glass of it alone but it was a good pairing for pan seared cod topped with mango salsa.

Rosé is often overlooked and considered as a sugary byproduct of red winemaking. Not in Tavel, an appellation that produces nothing but rosé. Salmon colour. Stony, mineral notes with hints of almonds. Dry, full bodied, with nice acidity. Drink slightly chilled.
