Pessac-Léognan Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend

A beautiful gem. Individual, racy. Great tension. Enjoyed over two days. Obvious notes of wood but well integrated but suggesting further airing necessary. Bright, mineral and straight the next day. Wax, lemon, boxwood and mineral. Restrained, great depth of flavours! Few bottles left...

Wow, i definitely did not get this blind.

Heading downhill, unfortunately. This bottle at least.

Bottle was slightly off, possible heat damage.

Sadly but unsurprisingly was not in good condition.

Lovely wine if lacking the oomph of the grand vin. That’s normal but maybe a touch more pronounced this vintage than some others. With that said, stupidly wonderful QPR.
