Clos du Four Mâcon-Milly-Lamartine Chardonnay

Over delivers for a White Burg. Quite rich and ripe but very well balanced in the mouth. The fine acid held it together for me.

I had this wine recently, but this is just a better bottle. Full, concentrated Chardonnay with great acid and length for a Mâcon. I've been skeptical that the Les Héritiers wines really live up to the Lafon name, but this is a convincing effort. I'll certainly be following them.

Golden color. Citrus rind, pineapple, stone, chalk, and mineral with bright acidity.
