Over delivers for a White Burg. Quite rich and ripe but very well balanced in the mouth. The fine acid held it together for me.

I had this wine recently, but this is just a better bottle. Full, concentrated Chardonnay with great acid and length for a Mâcon. I've been skeptical that the Les Héritiers wines really live up to the Lafon name, but this is a convincing effort. I'll certainly be following them.

Killer Macon Chardonnay. Tart green apple, wet rock, hint of lemon zest, used oak? Have had several bottles already. Will age well but can’t keep my hands off of it. Crisp acidity. Way over delivers for a Macon Chard.

Zesty nose with lemon peel, green apple and a hint of lees derived creaminess. Palate is a touch strict with lemon peel, lemon fruit plus tart apple flavors. Fruit acid balance is just a touch out of sync which’s negatively impacts the texture. Finish is a touch lean.
