Rheingau Riesling
Floral and Riesling-ly but not pristine, not precise, especially for the region. Reflects its under-$10 price point well though. Absolute minimum of concentration....

Body: Medium bodied. Sweet.
Finish : Long finish with strong green apple notes
Summary: Crisp and sweet wine. Best enjoyed as an aperitif.

Nice flavors of tangerine, pineapple, green apple, and pear. Big downside is the butyric taste towards the finish. Otherwise it's a nice, cool, mildly sweet and affordable German Riesling, just not anywhere near greatness.

Jun 10th, 2016Does the job for a Costco pick on the Big Island. Suprisingly creamy and refreshing on day 2, some tropical stuff, but perhaps it was the ghost pepper just before!
