From the Lorie Valley, deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits and crush floral notes. On the palate flavors of plum and blackberry with woodsy notes. Medium grippy tannins and finish, ending with earthy herb character.

Dec 2nd, 2020I’ve been anticipating my first #chinon taste. This wine started out tight - right after pouring you get a pronounced meaty nose which opens up to floral and subtle vegetal notes and laid back dark fruit. Plenty of acidity on the palate, reserved red fruit, leather, dried violets finishing with structured tannins. Fantastic wine to have with food, but also delicious by itself.

Jun 24th, 2019Where has Cabernet Franc been all my life. This is a supple, jammy, earthy, beauty of a red. It’s inexpensive and so good with...anything. I heard from @Byron C Mayes that is was a red good with pork. He was so right. It held up to spicy foods and opened up so nicely. Great find!
