On the first night the mint leave/wintergreen aspect was overwhelming and weird. So I put it back in the fridge. On night 2, it’s calmed down and is quite nice. Still some intense sweet green herbal notes on the nose, but also showing fresh-sliced stone fruit and crushed rock notes. Quite flavorful, with same amalgam of herb-fruit-rock in the mouth. Juicy, and with good acidic tension. Surprisingly good, especially since I’m generally critical of Italian whites.

Pale, translucent yellow. Bright aromas of lemon curd, citrus zest and almond. Perfectly balanced with a zesty entry and then a medium body that finishes clean. Citrus element played up on the palate. Sounds one note, but if you've had really great, fresh citrus that hasn't been waxed/Chilled, you know why this was exciting.

Pale yellow with greenish hue. On nose this has floral note on top of black currant leaf, lemon and hint of freshly cut grass. On palate this has lime, lemon, currants carried by a cool mineral tone. This is somewhat lighter than previous vintage but excellent Lugana that would go great with crayfish or other subtle fish dishes

We used to live near Lake Garda and got to know these wines made w/Turbiana - they are exquisite! This rendition was a little fatter w/some heft weight & viscosity - yellowish color and obvious effect of prolonged lees contact. Generous nose of savory nutty herbaceousness, grass and fresh cut flowers mingled w/yellow fruit & apples. Well defined acidic backbone and lingering finish.

Aug 1st, 2020Very nice slightly richer Lugana. Almonds, white flowers and fruit. Balanced with sneaky concentration. Had this with a selection of Sushis and it worked nicely with most of them. Think this would go nicely with Risotto
