Beautiful Côte du Rhône. What a steal! For 22 bucks a bottle this is ridiculous, elegant and powerful at the same time, black licorice and raspberries. Wow.

B /B+ ripe fruit on the nose. On the plate very approachable and balanced. Medium bodies plus. Red fruit and earth. Long legs in the glass and high alcohol. Medium tannins and a long peppery finish. It improves over time. Upon opening its was a much lighter body and was unremarkable. More character after an hour open in the bottle.

Garrigue is an apt name for this juice. Medium bodied, juicy and great acidity for a CdR. Plus tons of spicy herbal well, Garrigue. I love this stuff!
