A blend of 70% Nerello Mascalese and 30% Nocera, with aromas of red berry fruit and floral spices. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with citrus notes on juicy acidity. Fine tannins with good balance on medium finish ending with earthy mineral notes. Good value.

A friendly and affordable intro to Nerello Mascalese, with varietal character and requisite rusticity, but genial structure.

Fragrant with florals, red fruits, candied ginger, slight truffle and white spice. 15 days of skin contact provides good grip and texture that marries beautifully with the juicy acid profile. Few points for sheer drinking pleasure here

Red fruits, rich, minerals, earthy, nicely balanced Sicilian rouge, very nice!!

Lovely, fresh Sicilian wine, juicy redfruits, low ABV (13%) really makes this very quaffable, medium-long finish, very good!!

70% Nerello Mascalese 30% Nocera from Sicily. Rustic but not too rustic. A little refined, too. A pretty ideal Mediterranean red, actually.

Nose of citrus, stewed fruits and a bit of rubber; body is bright and acidic, with citrus peel, cherry, and some stemmy notes. Finish is much lighter, floral with a bit of olive.

Black earth. Incredible rich minerality and strong earthy notes expressed in a bone dry wine that evolved into a full concert after about an hour in a decanter. Still echoing after it was long gone.

Second pairing at The Hobbit. Delicious, plummy red. Would enjoy again.
