Super toasty nose. Meyer lemon. Lemon oil. Lovely minerals. Flowers. Super aromatic and really refined aromas. Palate is tense and lemony with lovely sappy fruit and super high acids. Especially for 09. Terrific fruit and intensity. Great concentration and just lovely mouthfeel. Rich but powdery and complex. As it airs it gets much more elegant. A lovely, deep and complex Champagne.
Nose gets so funky and complex after air. A forest/soil aroma. So good. Really fine. The mousse is so refined and elegant. Very forward with air.
After 3 hours this is so airy, saline and complex. A stunning nose now. Toasty, salty, mineral and nutty. Flowers. So deep. Palate is, tense and deep. This has real structural spine. Terrific sap on the finish. Very nice. Almost a 9.5. Needs more finesse.
