On opening - this thing is pretty tight. Not much fruit, loads of cedar, tobacco, graphite and black pepper. Some raspberry and plum starting to develop. Finish is big pepper spice. Would be great with an arrabiata dish!

Rich beautiful aromas! Fruity with a dry finish. Delicious rich wine. Love it! Had it at Pazzia. Need to find it.

2016 was also tight out of the bottle. Next day the fruit showed up. A lot softer and drinkable. I’d buy it again but decant for a few hours.

Fruit forward without being sweet. Little to no tannin, but still complex with a little structure. Slightly earthy and minerally.
