From our tasting back in August. Dark and deep ruby red. Slight heat on the nose, which is expected for how young this wine is. Some nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves on the nose too with dark berries. Heavy blue and black berries on the palate with some cassis. Very ripe, extracted, voluptuous and silky. Almost seems like some tighter almost mountain berries near the finish. Fully integrated moderate tannins (7.5/10) and full bodied with a little furriness. Long and lingering finish, this wine will only develop and get better with age in the bottle. Excellent work Kerrin and Celia! Drink from 2017 till 2036. (92+)
