Gummy fruits of blackberries, black cherries, black raspberries, plum, black licorice, fresh & dry red florals on the nose. Palate of, nicely resolved tannins, blackberries, black cherries, black raspberries, dry cranberries, prunes, rhubarb and strawberries in the mid palate, soft leather. Mid intensity minerals, anise, dark fresh florals, lighter acidity and the finish is ripe fruits with M + sticky dark tannins. There's been some nice evolution here, but this one needs another 4-5 years.

Beautiful ruby color. Fantastic fruit forward nose. Jammy with a hint of spice. Served with prime rib which wasn't a good match needed more backbone for the beef.
