This is a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon from a great vintage in Napa.

This 14 year old Magnum is showing great complexity with a soft mouthfeel. Big and bold. Rich and extracted.

Showing black fruits with cedar, vanilla, licorice, earth, spices, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn. Elegant and delightful.

Long long finish with firm tannins and tangy raspberries.

Drinking deliciously right out of the bottle, but even better after an hour of airtime. Beautiful nose once it opens up, so be patient.

Would continue to age nicely in the next 10 years.

A great sipping wine. No need for food here, but would also pair beautifully with a big piece of steak.

100% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were aged in French oak barrels.
Drinking this from a Magnum.

15.2% alcohol by volume.

96 points.

$450 (Magnum).

Dark red purple in color. Blue-blackberry, pepper and minerally on the nose-currants linger. Aroma of vanilla and spice fills the nose as dark fruit and chocolate delightfully warm up on the taste buds; finishes with some graphite and earthy flavors. tannins ready to drink. Thought I slid the the bar to 9 but saw 8 on my initial review. Sorry for the mistake.

Double decant and pour(minimal cloudy sediment). A magical murky reddish/purple color. On the nose: blackberry, currents, floral, minerals, earthy. Taste: graphite, black fruit, crushed rocks, pepper, chocolate with a rich medium finish....tannins fully integrated...seems to be about or at its peak..don't wait, pop one if you have em!!

Decant 1 hour (some fine sediment). Dark ruby red color. On the nose: black fruit, cassis, floral, minerals. Taste: blackberry, vanilla, pencil lead, spice. Tannins still there and starting to sweeten....going to wait a year or two on remaining bottles. Yum
