100% Pinot for national Pinot noir day. It’s 111 here today (8/18), so bubbles are the only choice. Jan 2020 disgorgement, 4g/l dosage.

I’ve been a fan of LF champagnes for a while now as I feel the champagnes can maintain an elegant grower vibe with appropriate richness. Spiced pear; very cider-like in profile. Rich and ripe yet bright; honeyed fruit aromatically and on the palate; 4g/l dosage which it wears quite well. Initially herbal and green, it turns more yellow fruit driven. Not citrus, but more underripe tropical notes. Compared to LF’s Grand Crayeres BdB, this extra bold profile from the Pinot shows up here in a bright way. Paired with truffle chips as a match made in Heaven!

Wow, just utterly delicious. Big time fruit, rich and filled with deep mineral underpinnings. Orange, asian pear, wet chalk, nougat, apple blossom, sea salt, straw, pink peppercorn. Serious yet open and charming all at once. 100 PN 19mo. elevage in bbl 4g/l dosage 1/2020 disgorgement

Dégorgement: 12/2015, Vintage '12, Dosage 4g/l, Great structure, the whole line-up are quite young, but they're showing such beautiful expression of fruit character, great stuff.

Tasty Blanc de Noirs Champagne with strong brioche palette and nose, accompanied by white fruit. A beauty.

Whenever I talk about these Laherte champagnes I always feel as if I’m speaking to the choir because I love them and you love them just as much.

100% Pinot Noir from old vines. The acid is delightful with a dosage of 4 g/l. So much finesse and joy to be found here. Disgorged in January of 2020, so still a bit young and could stand a little more waiting time but it’s great now. The balance and structure are exquisite, as usual, and vigor of the wine is impressive.

The nose features red and green apples along with a smattering of dried herbs and floral accents. Pears and a splash of wet stone. The nose takes that and brings in fresh cherries, white pepper, and cinnamon dusted crust. A long beautiful finish leaves you wanting more. Just an utterly delicious champagne.

Perfect for my palate. Really amazing. Great lively acidity and yeasty nuance. Pinkish. 100% Pinot Noir.

👃Red fruited with fresh apples, bruised apples, and marzipan. Bright

👅Red apples, pears, and almonds. Bruised apple is the predominant flavor. Energetic acidity. Medium bodied

Energetic and fresh with interesting complexity. Bold flavors but medium body. For an extra brut, this is not bone dry. As with most champagne, this wine excels with many foods 🥂🍾
