Pale straw yellow color. Can tell this will have a good amount of salt based off of the brine aromas that waft immediately out of the glass in tandem with melon, lemon zest, and some tropical notes. Tangerine, grapefruit and pear skin flavors with a silky feel. A lot of nice saline structure and good mineral vibes. It’s refreshing too. Love the puckering acidity it leaves behind.

This 2020 Albariño is crisp and bright with a pale yellow appearance and a complex nose. Aromas of citrus come first, then stone fruit, then a wonderful salinity that reminds me of the ocean. A tropical note joins the apricot/nectarine flavor and is bathed in lemon. The acidity is fresh and lively, and the finish is medium-long, leaving a trail of the citrus zest in its wake.

Minerally and seamless in texture, offering sappy orchard and citrus fruit flavors and a deeper melon nuance that emerges on the back half.
