L'Arcione Colli Orientali del Friuli Rosso Schioppettino Pignolo

Vintage 2011 | Glorious result of combining Pignolo and Schoppettino. Fruit driven. Raspberries. Very vivid. Paired with comté cheese. Second day: pure velvet.

Vintage 2007 - I do like évery wine of La Tunella, and this one is very good indeed! It has a very complex smell with cedar, leather, chocolate and lots of cherries. A very smooth taste, no tannins that are disturbing, a touch of sweet thanks to lots of sunshine, powerfull. It's a great example what a winemaker can do with original grapes. 50% pignolo, 50% schopettino #friuli #pignolo #schopetinno #loveit
