Macchiona Dieciannidopo Emilia Red Blend

Showstopper - black thick skinned grape with Aglianico-esque tannins and mouthfeel. 2006 is the current release for 2018/19.

Unmistakably La Stoppa in style. Integrated grip, drinking so well. Pleasure and complexity but no surprises with time/air. What’s there is there and it’s delicious.

This made for a real fun stump the chump wine. Lot going on here.

ここ数年で1番美味しい

Very nice Italian red blend - never had this before. Deep red fruit with duty tannins in a very nice way. Even with the age this holds together very well. Excellent acid on the finish - and quite tasty with a prime dry aged bone in ribeye.
